Dear colleagues:

It is my great pleasure to begin the new academic year with a note of welcome to the newest members of the FAS faculty. A total of 52 new ladder and multi-year instructional colleagues will join us during 2022-23. 40 new ladder faculty arrive in New Haven this year: 31 joined the ladder this July, four more join in January, and five will be here as visitors during the 2022-2023 academic year before joining the ladder faculty. We also welcome 12 faculty members newly appointed to multi-year instructional positions. I hope you will join me in welcoming these extraordinary colleagues to the FAS community.
