The Yale Faculty of Arts and Science is pleased to welcome 40 new ladder faculty members who will join us during the 2022-2023 academic year.
Of the 40 new ladder faculty and professors who have joined us in New Haven this year, 31 joined the ladder this July and 4 more join in January. An additional 5 hold appointments as Postdoctoral Associates or Research Scientists for the 2022-23 academic year and will join the ladder faculty on July 1, 2023. The cohort of new arrivals spans all three FAS academic divisions: Humanities, Social Science, and Science.
