Jenn Coughlan

Jenn Coughlan joins Yale as an Assistant professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Coughlan is an evolutionary geneticist. The Coughlan Lab leverages natural diversity in a charismatic group of wildflowers (Mimulus) to understand the genetic basis and evolutionary drivers of adaptation, speciation, and hybridization in nature. The lab uses a combination of tools, including manipulative greenhouse experiments, development, and quantitative and population genomics.
