Cultivating collaboration and innovation

SAL2 is a signature program created by FAS Dean Tamar Gendler. SAL2 advances Yale’s larger mission of cultivating an interdependent and diverse community founded on the free exchange of ideas.  Yale’s FAS is a singular place: our permeable disciplinary boundaries, unwavering commitment to faculty leadership, and consistent devotion to excellence in research and liberal arts teaching foster a singularly creative and collaborative community. SAL2 recognizes and reinforces this unique culture of collaboration and innovation.
