Apply for Coaching for Success

SAL2 is able to fund a limited number of coaching requests during the 2025-26 academic year.  We ask that faculty apply to Coaching for Success by October 17, 2025, with the understanding that decisions may take a few weeks. We will not be able to grant coaching funds if you apply to the program after the deadline has passed.

Your application should consist of a brief description of your goals, area of focus for coaching, and the potential impact of the proposed coaching on your scholarship, pedagogy, or professional life (approximately 150 words). Successful applicants will clearly articulate how coaching will support them in their role at Yale.

Applications from faculty who have not already received coaching support through SAL2 will receive priority. Faculty who have already received repeated SAL2 support through Coaching for Success and who wish to continue working with a coach may be encouraged  to use alternative funds (i.e.: university-allocated research funds, departmental funds, or other university funds) to continue this important work so that we may reserve SAL2 resources for those who have not yet taken advantage of the program.

If you do not have a particular coach in mind, SAL2 program staff will match you with a coach with relevant expertise.
