Stephanie Lazzaro

Prior to coming to Yale, Stephanie Lazzaro worked as a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London (UCL) in the UK.  There, Stephanie taught on the BSc Psychology and MSc Cognitive Neuroscience programs.  At UCL, Stephanie received the Provost’s Teaching Award in both 2015 and 2020, a UCL Education award in both 2015 and 2018, and was nominated for several Student Choice Teaching Awards.  Stephanie is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  

Stephanie received her PhD in Neural Science from New York University where she also completed two Teaching and Learning Certificates.  Her research focuses on learning, memory, and decision-making and examining how various factors such as social information, rewards, incentives, and prior beliefs can influence decision-making and memory processes.
