Working with the Graduate Student Union: Online Session
The FAS Dean’s Office invites FAS faculty to join an online session on working with graduate students and understanding the graduate student union (L33) on Friday, September 25 from 2:00-3:00 PM over Zoom.
Kelly Shay, Graduate Union Affairs and Student Relations Administrator, and Kitty Robinson, Senior Labor Relations Representative, will answer commonly asked questions about the L33 union, such as who it represents, why it matters, and how it intersects with your role. They will discuss key processes and topics, including grievances, creating positions, tracking PTO, and the boundary between employment issues and academic matters. There will be time for questions, and participants will receive a clear set of resources for support. Register below by Thursday, September 24.
Date: Friday, September 25
Time: 2:00-3:00 PM
Location: Zoom (a link will be shared in the coming weeks).
