State of the FAS Faculty Presentation

Dean Wilkinson invites all FAS faculty to a meeting this fall to discuss the state of the FAS, modeled on ‘state of the school’ meetings in other Yale units. Dean Wilkinson will discuss many of the issues and opportunities that face us as a faculty, including the challenges to science funding, the response to the FASTAP and FAS strategic review committees, and faculty hiring, including the growth of ladder and instructional faculty over the past decade, and the principles and process we use to make hiring decisions.
