Luca Bellodi

Luca Bellodi joins the FAS as Assistant Professor of Political Science and a faculty affiliate of Yale's Institution for Social and Policy Studies. His research examines American political institutions, with particular attention to bureaucratic politics and money in politics.  

Bellodi’s current agenda centers on the internal workings of administrative agencies, the rulemaking process, and the role of bureaucratic expertise in policymaking. His work has been published in the American Journal of Political Science and the Journal of Politics.

Prior to joining Yale, Bellodi was a research fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and a postdoctoral fellow at Bocconi University. He received his PhD in political science from University College London in 2022.
