FAS Staff Emergency Preparedness & Response Training

We invite you to join us on March 12, 9:00AM – 12:00PM, for an emergency preparedness and response training led by Yale Police and Emergency Management. The training will be held in the Humanities Quadrangle (320 York St.), Room L01 (lower level).

They will lead a comprehensive session focused on emergency communication, response planning, and personal preparedness.  

The session will include:

  • Resources for communicating in an emergency.
  • How to request support to develop an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for your team.
  • Shelter in Place procedures for severe weather, hazardous materials, and other incidents.
  • Active Assailant Response (including a viewing of the Active Assailant Response training video).
  • Practical steps that will help support safe decision-making during emergencies.
  • A Q&A session with Yale Police and Yale Emergency Management.
