Julie returned to the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in her newly created role in 2023, having previously been a member of the FAS Dean’s Office staff from 2014-2017. As Assistant Director of Administration & Operations, Julie connects academic departments and administrative teams within the FAS to manage and streamline operations and administrative processes. Her areas of responsibility include human resources support in FAS staff hiring, DEIB support in the newly initiated FAS staff diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts, and administrative support in trainings on FAS-specific administrative policies and procedures. Julie also manages and coordinates the work of the FAS Floater team and Faculty Appointment and Promotion Specialists as well as supports dual career assistance for faculty members. 

Julie joined Yale in 2007. She has held administrative positions in the MD-PhD Program and the Office of Student Research in the Yale University Medical School, in the Talent Acquisition-Staffing department in Human Resources and most recently in the Yale College Dean’s Office. 

During her time in the YCDO, as the Director of Administrative Affairs for Yale College, Julie was responsible for managing the YCDO's processes and procedures, orchestrating space and facilities moves and renovations, coordinating staff and administrative support for the Dean of Yale College, and promoting professional development. Over her five years in Yale College, she organized, managed, and participated in planning and working groups and committees such as the Yale College Dean’s Management Team, the Yale College DEIB Planning Group, the University’s COVID Isolation Planning Committee and COVID Response Team, Alumni Commencement 2020, and high-level search committees. Julie also served as the Health and Safety Leader for undergraduates in Yale College.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Providence College.
