[Summary: The FAS Communications Advisory Committee invites you to share feedback on FAS communications and messages by completing a 10-minute-long survey.]
To: FAS faculty and staff
Cc: FAS Steering, FAS Dean’s Office
Dear FAS faculty and staff,
We are writing on behalf of the FAS Communications Advisory Committee to invite you to complete a short survey on the effectiveness of FAS communications. This 10-minute-long survey asks for your feedback on memos and messages from the FAS Dean’s Office, your thoughts on preferred communication style and format, and your ideas on how to facilitate communication within and beyond the FAS. You can complete the survey online.
This survey was prepared by the faculty and staff members who sit on the FAS Communications Advisory Committee (roster below). Appointed in April 2022, this committee is charged with providing guidance on how to enhance communication between the FAS Dean’s Office, FAS faculty and staff, and the broader Yale community. Feedback from this survey, and a review of FAS Dean’s Office’s communications practices, will guide a set of recommendations the committee will deliver to Dean Gendler at the end of this semester.
We are very grateful for your input, and as a sign of our thanks, all survey participants will be entered in a draw to win a gift card from a local New Haven business. The survey will close on Tuesday, November 15.
Thank you for your feedback!
Best wishes,
Arielle Baskin-Sommers, Associate Professor of Psychology
Alexandra Apolloni, Assistant Dean for Faculty Development and Outreach, FAS
