Congratulations to FAS Holiday Raffle Winners
This message provides links to information on the 2023 FAS holiday celebration, including information on raffle prizes, raffle winners, and donation to community organizations.
While the FAS Dean’s Office was unable to host holiday gatherings in 2021, we nonetheless celebrated the season and our community with our 2021 holiday raffle and donation.
FAS Donation to Community Organizations
In December 2020, we had an overwhelming positive response to FAS Dean’s Office holiday raffle and donation, and based on community votes we distributed our donation between New Haven Reads, the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen and IRIS: Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services.
In 2021, 323 FAS community members who cast a vote in our holiday poll. This year, we will be donating the funds ordinarily spent on the FAS Dean’s Office winter party to three New Haven-based organizations who do vital work to help our local community thrive. Based on your votes, we will be directing 40% of our donation to the Community Soup Kitchen, 31% to FISH of Greater New Haven, and 29% to the Diaper Bank of Connecticut. We are grateful to be able to support these extraordinary organizations.
