Soyoung Lee

Soyoung Lee  joins the FAS as Assistant Professor of Political Science. Her research examines the interplay between domestic politics and international relations, with a focus on territorial conflicts, nationalism, and international rivalries. Her research has appeared or is forthcoming in several journals such as the American Political Science Review, International Interactions, and International Organization. She is currently working on a book project that examines what kind of international issues become perceived as national interests worth fighting for and why. She received her PhD in Political Science from Stanford University and her BA in Political Science from Yonsei University.
