Konrad Lehnert

Konrad Lehnert joins the FAS as Eugene Higgins Professor of Physics and as a member of the Yale Quantum Institute. Professor Lehnert’s research addresses experimental aspects of quantum information science, precision measurement, mechanical systems in the quantum regime, and laboratory searches for dark matter. Prior to Yale, Professor Lehnert was a Fellow and Chair of JILA, a joint institute of the University of Colorado and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He also held appointments at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Professor of Physics (adjoint) and at NIST as a Senior Research Scientist.
