Kirstin Meyer
Kirstin Meyer joins the FAS as Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and the Systems Biology Institute. Her research combines cell biological, biophysical, and synthetic approaches to understand the biophysical principles of gene regulation and their role in complex cell behaviors during embryonic development. Before coming to Yale, Kirstin was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California San Francisco, where she studied molecular mechanisms of temporal information processing. Kirstin completed her doctorate at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Germany.
