Laura Seaberg

Laura Seaberg joins the FAS as Lecturer in Mathematics. She completed her undergraduate degree at Haverford College before earning her PhD at Boston College in 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Kathryn Lindsey. Her research focuses on dynamical systems and fractal geometry as applied to tilings. In addition to serving as an instructor of record during graduate school, Seaberg worked at Boston College’s Center for Teaching Excellence as Graduate Programs Coordinator. She aims to uplift young mathematicians in all her work, which has included organizing the Math For All conference and participating in the Mathematics Outreach Seminar and Training program with the Museum of Math.
