Tamar Gendler moderating new faculty introductions at orientation

In 2018-19, we welcome an extraordinary set of new colleagues to the FAS. This year’s incoming cohort comprises 46 ladder faculty members, starting either in July 2018 or January 2019, and spanning all four FAS academic divisions: Humanities, Social Science, Science, and the School of Engineering & Applied Science (SEAS). In particular, 16 of them come to departments in the humanities, 19 of them to departments in the social sciences, and 11 to departments in either the sciences or engineering. An additional 3 belong to cross-divisional departments: American Studies; African American Studies; and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

Photos and bios for each new faculty member may be accessed through the menu on this page, or by clicking/tapping on the images of the documents below. Each one of them will bring diversity and expertise to their respective departments and programs. Please join us in warmly welcoming our outstanding new colleagues!
