Report of the FAS Communications Advisory Committee - December 2022
Response to the report from the FAS Dean’s Office - February 2023
Purpose
The FAS Communications Advisory Committee will provide guidance to facilitate communication between the FAS Dean’s Office and the broader FAS and university community. The committee will aid in developing strategy to enhance the visibility of the FAS at Yale and beyond and will provide feedback on best practices for FAS communications. The committee will meet monthly during the Spring 2022 and Fall 2022 semesters, beginning in April 2022, and will develop a set of recommendations for the FAS Dean’s Office. Recommendations may address:
- Best practices for community-wide communications from the FAS Dean’s Office;
- Priorities and goals for telling the stories of the FAS;
- Improving access to information on the FAS website;
- Resources that would enhance departmental, divisional, or FAS-wide communications capabilities;
- Other related topics that the committee deems relevant.
