Dana Foster is the Senior Director of Development for the Faculty of Arts & Sciences (FAS).  In this role, Dana serves as a strategic development advisor to Dean Tamar Gendler, works closely with our FAS faculty, and collaborates with colleagues across campus.

Dana comes to Yale from The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, where she was the Director of Development & External Relations.  She was responsible for providing strategic input for fundraising, communications, and community outreach for this non-profit cultural arts center.  

Prior to The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, Dana held a variety of roles, most notably as the Director of External Relations & Governance for four CT based boards of directors running K-12 charter schools, within a network of 29 non-profit, college preparatory public charter schools.  Dana holds a Masters of Business Administration (UConn), Masters of Arts in Psychology (Univ. of Hartford), and Juris Doctor (Boston College Law School).  In her free time, Dana is an education ambassador and education council member for the Hartford Stage, a volunteer and events committee member with the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, and a certified yoga instructor!
