Anurag Khandelwal

Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Anurag Khandelwal joins Yale University’s Department of Computer Science as an Assistant Professor in January 2020. His research interests span distributed systems, networking, and algorithms. In particular, his research focuses on addressing core challenges in distributed systems through novel algorithm and data structure design. Prior to joining Yale, Professor Khandelwal received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019, advised by Ion Stoica. During his doctoral work, Professor Khandelwal built largescale data-intensive systems such as Succinct and Confluo, which led to deployments in several production clusters. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2013.
