Nicolò Cesana-Arlotti

Nicolò Cesana-Arlotti joins Yale as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. Cesana-Arlotti studies how infants and children become able to think and talk as we do. His research focuses on the primitive logical resources that support infants and children’s striking learning capacities, and how maturation, experience, and the acquisition of language contribute to the flourishing of thinking and reasoning. His work has appeared in Science, Nature Communications, and Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B. He earned his B.A. from Universitá Statale di Milano and his Ph.D. from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
