During Yale’s 318th Commencement procession, FAS faculty marched in the wake of the President and Corporation in a position of honor. The faculty processed in bright academic robes, led by Mary Miller, senior marshal of the faculty, carrying the wood and silver FAS mace; the Woodbridge Fellow, Christian de León, wielding the FAS flag emblazoned with the Yael, a mythical ibex; and the Dean of the FAS, Tamar Szabó Gendler.
