Mid-Semester Facul-Tea: Building Community for Teaching and Research

Organized by the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning and the FAS Scholars as Leaders; Scholars as Learners initiative.

Date: Monday, April 25

Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Poorvu Center, 301 York Street, Room 120A.

Join the Poorvu Center and FAS Dean Tamar Gendler for a casual, come-and-go discussion of how we can build community for Yale faculty. New faculty, in particular, are encouraged to join us and share their perspectives.

Topics for discussion will include:

  • What resources have you used to support your research and teaching?
  • What kinds of programming would be helpful for your professional development? To support your teaching?
  • What themes or ideas are you interested in addressing through collaborative teaching or research?
  • What resources or programs do you think would help facilitate faculty collaboration and community?

All faculty are warmly invited to come to reconnect, meet new colleagues, and share ideas for how we can support faculty teaching and professional development.

Coffee and tea will be served.
