The Yale Stem Cell Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary Nov. 10-11 with two events illustrating its accomplishment and potential, to be held at the Mary S. Harkness Auditorium, 333 Cedar St.

The opening ceremony on Nov. 10 begins at 3:30 p.m. and features remarks by Connecticut Governor  Dannel Molloy, U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, New Haven Mayor Toni Harp, Yale President Peter Salovey, and Yale School of Medicine Dean Robert Alpern. WNPR’s Colin McEnroe will then host a panel discussion with researchers, representatives of funding agencies, and patient advocates. 

On Nov. 11, top stem cell researchers will hold a symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The events are free and open to the public, but seating is limited and registration is required. For more information and to register, visit the event’s website.
