Mellissa Meisels

Mellissa Meisels joins the FAS as Assistant Professor of Political Science and faculty fellow at Yale's Institution for Social and Policy Studies. Her research centers around American politics with a focus on congressional elections, money in politics, and political organizations. Her research has appeared in general and political science journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, British Journal of Political Science, and Political Science Research and Methods. Prior to joining the FAS, she was a postdoctoral fellow in Yale's Center for the Study of American Politics and received her PhD from Vanderbilt University and BA from University of California, Los Angeles, both in political science.
