Timothy Ablondi
Lecturer in Mathematics
Timothy Ablondi joins the FAS as a Lecturer in Mathematics. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from North Carolina State University in 2025 under the supervision of Andrew Manion. His research interests lie at the intersection of low-dimensional topology and higher category theory, with a particular focus on problems related to decategorified Heegaard Floer theory. He is a fellow of the Mathematical Association of America’s Project NExT (New Experiences in Teaching) for the 2025–26 academic year.
