Christian Cammarota
Lecturer in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry
Christian Cammarota joins the FAS as Lecturer in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. His interests are at the intersection of biology and computational/quantitative education. Cammarota earned his BS in physics at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 2017 and went on to complete his PhD at the University of Rochester, where he studied epithelial mechanobiology utilizing microscopy and computational modeling. During that time, he worked primarily with biologists and decided to focus on education research. After his PhD, he went on to complete a postdoc with the Center for Advancing Scholarship to Transform Learning (CASTLE) at RIT. Cammarota’s primary goals are as an educator, but he continues to work as an education researcher.
