Paul Cooper

Lecturer in Chemistry

Paul Cooper received his Ph.D. from the University of Western Australia in 2005, and then performed postdoctoral research at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. From 2007 through 2018, he served as a faculty member at George Mason University. His area of study is Physical Chemistry, with specific interests in spectroscopy of small molecules and planetary ice analogs. He is also involved in chemical education and is a contributing author of the Top Hat General Chemistry interactive text. He starts teaching classes at Yale in the spring semester of 2019.
