Marta Figlerowicz

New Haven fosters an intellectual community that’s both tight-knit and richly receptive to the outside world. The variety, number, and quality of all the talks, performances, exhibitions, and screenings that take place around campus daily, often in parallel with each other, is incredible. I admire how committed all the members of our academic community are to creating this lively schedule, and also to attending each other’s events. I feel both stimulated and listened to here, in a way that has had a strong positive impact on my thinking ever since I got to Yale.”
