Guiding Principles for our Teaching and Learning Community

A committee chaired by FAS Dean of Diversity and Faculty Development Larry Gladney has developed developing a set of Guiding Principles for our Teaching and Learning Community.
The document is an expression of common commitment to respect, community, and care. It outlines the steps we can all take, as students and instructors, to make sure that everyone in our classes is respected, included, and able to do their best work. We hope that you will read it and take it to heart.
FAS Academic Planning Resources

In summer, 2020, the FAS Academic Planning Committees and Task Forces developed academic planning resources to support course planning. These include sample syllabi, best practices, guides and related resources for lectures, seminars, laboratory courses, language and writing courses, and studio, performing arts, and collection-based courses.
