Dear colleagues:

It gives us great pleasure to announce the appointment of Professor Ron Breaker, Sterling Professor of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, as Chair of the Biological Sciences Tenure and Appointments Committee (TACBS), pending approval by the Yale Corporation. His term will be for three years, effective July 1, 2021. We are most grateful to Professor Breaker for accepting this important leadership position.
 
We also express our deepest thanks to Professor Paul Turner, Rachel Carson Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and current chair of the committee, for his dedicated leadership during his term as chair.
