The FAS now has a Jeopardy! winner on the faculty.
Lloyd Alimboyao Sy, a Postdoctoral Associate in English who will join the Faculty of Arts and Sciences as an Assistant Professor in July 1 2024, won a game of Jeopardy on Wednesday, January 24, and will advance to the semifinals in the game show’s Champion Wild Card competition. The Champions Wildcard competition features contestants who have won at least one or two games.
Sy first appeared on the show in October 2022. Sy won two of three games and collected more than $50,000 during his first apperance, which was subsequently aired in January 2023.
