On February 7th, the FAS celebrated the 24 faculty who had earned tenure in the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 years. Hosted in the historic Provost’s House, faculty had the opportunity to congratulate one another and learn more about the exceptional talents that drive our intellectual culture here at Yale.
Dean Tamar Gendler as well as FAS faculty administrators spoke and dined with our newly tenured members, toasting to their dedication and accomplishment. An appearance by President Peter Salovey further reinforced the importance of our university scholars and the integral role they play in both preserving and strengthening our community.
