Antonov Awarded the Ed A Hewett Book Prize

History professor Sergei Antonov, who joined the Yale community in July, has been awarded the Ed A Hewett Book Prize for an outstanding publication on the political economy of Russia, Eurasia and/or Eastern Europe.  The Prize is awarded by the Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies.  Sergei received it for his book, Bankrupts and Usurers of Imperial Russia:  Debt, Property, and the Law in the Age of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy (Harvard University Press, 2016).
