Purpose
The Joint FAS-SEAS Committee for Advancing Inclusion is charged with:
- Advising the Deans of the FAS, SEAS, GSAS, and YC on implementation of the DEIB Action Plans, communication with the broader community about Belonging at Yale (B@Y), and ongoing efforts to improve diversity;
- Soliciting input from interested groups and individuals, and the broader community;
- Reviewing and monitor progress on the implementation of actions outlined in the Dean’s DEIB Action Plan, with a focus on the accountability of responsible units;
- Producing a report to the Deans regarding the juncture of their DEIB Action Plans and drafting a public memorandum on that report.
